GEPS INNOV and ADEME Investissement – partners in the creation of FABIX, a company leasing innovative assets for the blue economy.
- ADEME Investissement has set up a partnership with GEPS to support the establishment of a company to lease innovative assets: multi-purpose, energy autonomous floating platforms (used for scientific research, environmental monitoring, data collection, etc.), environmental monitoring devices, and low-impact data centres.
- This partnership will be funded by shareholder equity with an overall envelop of 20 million euros, which will allow it to mobilise a complement of up to 65 million in bank debt. A first line of as much as 35 million euros has just been granted under a credit contract arranged by CIC Ouest and Crédit Mutuel Loire-Atlantique Centre Ouest.
- This platform will contribute to the goals undertaken by France 2030 of accelerating the exploitation of marine energies and the exploration of the seabed.
