The CIF Fund

The Climate Infrastructure Fund aims to contribute to the ecological transition of the industrial, tertiary, and residential sectors by investing in projects that enable greater moderation of use and energy efficiency.

 Sectors

The Climate Infrastructure Fund provides equity and quasi-equity funds for projects such as:

  • Industrial energy efficiency (waste heat recovery, smart electrical systems),
  • Energy efficiency building projects,
  • Energy storage,
  • Hot and cool networks,
  • Collective self-consumption projects,
  • Green datacentres.

Banque des Territoires, PRO BTP, as, well as a number of mutual insurance companies, banks, insurance companies, and family offices.

 

Calendar

Spring 2022 : 1st closing at €100m.

Investment period : 5 years.

 

Expected impacts

This is an Article 9 Fund under SFDR. It’s impact on the climate will be measured in a very concrete and quantified way. Each project supported by the fund benefits from a pre-investment assessment and monitoring during the investment and post-investment, which will be carried out by Carbone 4.
