Project

Launch of a low-carbon transport offer through the construction of the NEOLINER, a 136-metre vessel powered mainly by wind enabling savings of more than 80% in terms of greenhouse gas emissions compared with a conventional ro-ro vessel. The project will be developed by a new shipping company, NEOLINE Armateur, in which ADEME Investissement is a shareholder.

 

Location

The ship will operate on a transatlantic route between Saint-Nazaire (France), Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon (France), Baltimore (USA) and Halifax (Canada).

Expected impact
